She also holds a certification in Human Resources through SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management), is certified in Instructional Design, and is a certified First Aid and CPR Instructor through the American Red Cross. Burton also recently became a Notary Public. Lacey has over seven years' experience in Human Resources with expertise in management, recruitment, training & development, employment law and compliance, and employee relations. Burton was named the VIP Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women. She is a member of the SHRM, Northern New Mexico Human Resource Association, Central New Mexico Human Resource Management Association, and Association for Talent Development. Additionally, Lacey serves as the Safety officer, which involves her serving as the chair and faciliating a monthly Safety meeting with safety commitee members. Burton also serves on the volunteer work group and provides recruitment for the volunteers, as well as serves as the Information Technology liaison. Lacey develops and directs all human resources for Youth Shelters and Family Services, ensures compliance with state and federal employment law, facilitates training to staff members and management, delivers support and guidance to other directors, and provides employee relations. As the Program Director for the Emergency Shelter, Bea oversees and manages the Youth Shelter, which is a co- ed state- licensed program with 8- beds serving eligible youth between the age of 1. Madigan has over six years’ experience working with youth in the foster care system who experienced acute and severe behavioral and emotional issues. Chandler worked with court ordered individuals with felony convictions providing individual counseling often for those with dual diagnosis, led substance addiction support groups, and worked with court ordered youth through the three strikes program. As the Program Director for the Transitional Living Program, she oversees a program which serves homeless and at- risk youth ages 1. Our work allows us to have daily contact with residents where they live and engage them in real life opportunities for growth and development. Most importantly, we help residents to learn how to be safe and stay safe. Felt has over 2. 0 years of accounting and auditing experience. Felt is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New Mexico Society of Certified Public Accountants. Addtionally, she serves on the Audit Commitee and is a Parent Representative for the New Mexico School for the Arts. Shelly has worked with established nonprofit organizations, local regional firms, and national corporate firms. Paige Kitson, Street Outreach Program Director. Paige Kitson has a Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Education and Leadership from Sterling College in Vermont. Kitson has been in the social services industry for over 8 years, with the majority of her time spent with the at- risk and homeless population. Paige is a member of the Homeless Youth Taskforce and Santa Fe Behavioral Health Alliance. Elizabeth's Shelter as a Shift Supervisor.
